I’m convinced that at least 40% of that is alt-right recruiting. The tell is when that crowd got mad when Star Trek “suddenly” got woke.
The venn digaram of people that got angry about it and those that are “men’s rights activists” is a purple circle.
Not for nothing, but I happened to rewatch Hawkeye a few weeks ago, and not only is it great holiday vibes, it’s better than I remember. A lot of these shows, we watch week to week, make up our minds about them and then leave them. That’s not necessarily that bad, since there’s so much new content it’s impossible to…
The difference between that freelance artist and the “normal job”, however, is that all the time spent on that project can’t be spent on other projects.
It’s almost as if the average person should be paid more.
“ That’s more than I make in a month working 40+ hours a week doing a “real” job.”
Agreed. The artist says “weeks of work”, but that is exactly what the average person has to do for that same money.
What exactly do you mean by a “real” job? Are you trying to say that your job is somehow more real than hers or did you put the quotations because you understand that that’s not really the correct contextual word? “Traditional” job might be apt, but illustrator is a very real job, it takes time, effort, mental…
The rich do spend - they spend it on themselves and often at the expense of everyone else. Those megayachts aren’t figments of the imagination.
Haha, no. They spend outrageous amounts on tacky and meaningless nothings. The real reason they stay rich is because they weaken labor organizing.
The rich are rich by exploiting those poorer than them. It’s a universal truth.
Yeah, the outcomes of this testing make tons of sense. What seems easy to improve in this situation (“OMG WHY DON’T THEY DETECT T-BONES!”) would require a significant increase in the design parameters of the AEB. Let’s not let perfect be the enemy of good.
But if you’re a smart driver
Article summary: The system is not perfect, so lets just scrap it all.
I just attended an NSRA event this weekend. Close to 1000 street rods, some you wouldn’t even recognize from their original appearance. Cars have to be at least 30 years old to display. There’s some crazy engine builds in there, north of 1000hp. Basically the entire area gets overrun with street rods for the weekend…
You misunderstand ... for clout? to make a point?
Sounds like we found one of the assholes that goes to these gatherings. And this was not the only incident. If you follow the threads on social media Wildwood people are claiming the police blotter was filled the whole weekend with accidents and other carnage. And there was at least one other incident with serious…
The unsactioned gathering is what draws these folks in. This guy was just the worst offender becuase he killed two people. Please tell me what “other points of view” I should examine about having modded cars drag race in the middle of a small town with a lot of pedestrian traffic.
That’s a big assumption there buddy....that I would support reckless driving anywhere let alone in my own community where my neighbors and friends would be at risk. Do I support people modding their own cars even if I think it looks silly? Sure. If these folks want to “unnoffically” get together in a big parking lot…
