@polobunny: NOD32 has always dominant when it comes to high detection rate and performance, and the last time I tried Security Essentials on my laptop, I still got hit by some trojans, whereas my PC running NOD32 has never ever even got infected by a rootkit, not to mention I can play games no problem since NOD32

Arrgh, since when is Security Essentials an excellent Anti-Malware tool. An excellent Anti-Malware tool would be NOD32 not the steaming pile of horse shit Microsoft calls an AV scanner.

I feel stupid for reading this article, simply because of the kiddie pictures plastered all over it. Not to mention another "Mantra' suggestion. Only got one essay done out of the 3? Oh well I did that one awesome. Too bad I'll fail the other courses, but oh well I'm awesome!

@kellanpan: Lol, I think everyone that saw the picture saw the hot dogs anus.

For some reason this makes me think about the Yes! people from the movie Yes Man. I can just see Terrance Stamp saying "The Now habit, live it, breath it, be a Now Man, not a Later man." with a crowd of people shouting "Later Man, Later Man!"

@cathpah: Chances are a printer should be able to produce pretty darn close to 18% gray, and either way, its not going to make a huge difference unless you're planning on entering some huge photography contest.

@Frosterus: lol, I agree, and how about the friendships built entirely on face-only communication?

@Drew Trevizo: He might have been in the military before becoming a scientist. I don't think there's anything to say he wasn't, and it isn't that unbelievable that he served time in the standard military, then went on to pursue a more scientific career.

@kraed: I agree that a simple conversion of the game's story to a movie would be ugly, but if they did a lot of interpolation, the story does have potential to be good. There's some good framework, likable characters, etc. All it needs is more detail, less Mary/Gary Sues and you'd have a movie.

@Jason: Actually, with well known media streaming apps for the iphone and android based smartphones, and apps to download torrents, youtube videos, etc, these are things people would do especially on a long flight, since they'll want to watch their fav movies. In todays world, a smartphone could easily use as much

@jktechwriter: I realize there's no way to say its right, I'm just saying its not a big deal. Not worth getting upset about, since the airline doubtlessly doesn't give a shit if a few of their techie passengers figure out how to get the cheaper rate on their wifi service.

I disable my ad blocker for sites I like, since they get money to pay for the hosting, etc from the ads, the only ads that drive me insane are the flash ads that drag down the loading of the page. Or those stupid "Make a baby!" ads.

@jktechwriter: The airline charging $7 for headphones that make Dollar Store headphones look good isn't wrong right? Monopolizing your customers since no one else is selling headphones on the plane?

The page file has always been a huge topic of debate when it comes to performance. In reality, the only real way to improve performance with the page file is a seperate disk for it, or a RAM Disk (for an insane performance boost thats probably pointless).

In the day's of XP, outbound firewalls like Zonealarm were important, since XP's firewall was shit.

@Natemx: lol, A true lifehacker post :)

@ahbi: For a user who has 1GB or less of RAM, you're correct, but since most computers ship with at least 3GB of RAM these days, its usually irrelevent. There gets to be a point where adding more RAM will not increase performance by much, for example, most user do not need and will not find much of a performance

@veronykah: No one "needs" caffeine supplements.

Wow! Mobile technology sure has advanced in the last few years, we now have portable light sources! If my granddaddy was here today, he'd sure marvel at this glorious technology!
