It’s ok that it’s a relief. My first pregnancy ended in miscarriage, too. It was a relief to realised the this is not only ‘common’ but probably ‘normal.’ and that it was no indication of the future. Second pregnancy was picture perfect, and the 8-yr old proof is begging for another popsicle. :)

Yeah, it is hard to talk about with friends. a lot of us are not really equipped to ‘hold space’ for each other in real life. So, online communities are great for that.

Hugs and hopefully 2017 will be a btter year for us all.

I’m sorry about your loss and the isolation and frustration of having to be “on” for family members while going through it. 2016 has been a rough year, and you know, you’ll be working on this grief of the miscarriage for a bit.

Ah, a fellow Canadian. Did you also angry whisper through most of it because you weren’t exactly sure how sound proof the walls really were and didn’t want to disturb your neighbors?

My husband once pissed me off before a flight. I stared out the window in silence for three hours, out the bus window for one hour and then through a 30 minute information session at the hotel, before finally continuing our fight once ensconced in our room. These people need to be sentenced to a rage repression…

My 16 year old daughter died on May 29th of this year.
