See what happens when you save your schmeckles rather than waste them on brothels!

Unfortunately we will probably have to wait a generation. Once the current group of kids (under 10) grows up and realizes that parents drive dorky crossovers then the market will shift. Of course by then self driving cars may take over and it could become a moot point.

Question: is that really so different from normal-person cars like the base model Camry/Accord/Corolla/Malibu/etc? I most certainly get that when it comes to a fun car, you want a *car*. But for the boring A->B commuter? People don’t care about feeling connected to the driving experience, they’re trying to escape

Aging population appreciates the higher sitting position getting in and out, and the supposedly increased visibility.

I’m sure Ferrari will be at pains to say it is not an SUV but some newly invented term for a high riding grand touring car with all wheel drive.

Something to think about: why doesn’t everyone drive a Geo Storm?

My guess is that MB went to VW and asked if they wanted to pay for the product placement of a beetle in the movie. Maybe Bay was asking too much, and VW then said no.

Keep a cool head and stay safe out there man.

Imagine how terrible of a driver you have to be to 1) react to a biker kicking your car at highway speeds, 2) try to engage a retaliatory attempt to take the biker out, and 3) to then lose control of the vehicle over something that was so inconsequential and not worth reacting to.

This may be the first time a biker won vs. a car.

Jeez, things are so much more colorful today!

Most automakers have spent the last decade or so harmonizing a good part of their lineups across international markets. There’s no way most of them would suddenly start putting different engines in their cars just because the US suddenly relaxes their emissions standards. Especially when there’s a good chance the

No, you are completely wrong on this. The crossover is the best thing. It has most of the carrying capacity of an SUV but without the mileage and handling penalties, and the handling and mileage of a family sedan without the cramped confines and storage penalties. Crossover is a perfect compromise, and look better

No comment on the looks, but they’re actually a great compromise between the two. My fiance’s 2008 CRV has been one of the most convenient cars ever.

Sedan with more storage space and slightly worse gas mileage. That’s a pretty good compromise.

His suspension probably found the landing quite shocking.

I guess warning people about the paving was not their Forte.

I bet they’re all safer than a motorcycle with five people on it, which is realistically what these cars are competing with. Making the cars safer will make them more expensive, which will make more people stick with the motorcycles, which will make them less safe.
