Awesome pic by the way.

Good point. Other than the UK and India, I can’t see a large market for them. The rest of Europe and most of the World are LHD.

They still handle better and get better mpg. But you are right, CUVs are popular because they are close to matching those things, but better in one important area.

As mentioned, they are just taller small hatches, called SUVs, but just high riding wagons and hatchbacks.

Absolutely, it was the price protection, but I have heard of dealers simply not honoring that agreement and selling the vehicle out from under the buyer.

I have to say, my brother, also in San Diego, had a great experience on his order on his Ford Maverick.

Well, again, this is assuming he had a valid reason to move the car. I don’t think it was confirmed that he actually had a reason to move the vehicle?

That makes sense, so they likely fired him because of his U-turn that caused the crash.

Sounded like he waited a while just to get the car, can’t imagine the owner will get that kind of deal.

As others have mentioned, based on the story, it was already parked, and the attendant decided to take it for a drive, it’s clearly a joy ride.

A set of modern high performance tires/wheels will fix all of that. Almost like you added traction control, turns any old Viper from skittish go kart into a big Miata.

Really pissed I missed the cheap Viper train, where you could have gotten a good GTS for 40K and RT10 for 20K just a few years ago.

I have had several vehicles with sensors for over a decade now, and I have never once had to replace a sensor.

Just a clarification, Red Bull Powertrains has zero involvement with their current engines.

These cars didn’t sell well in Europe to begin with. Mainly due to the short range. Yes, they are city cars, but where do city people have to charge?

Not every SUV is huge, most in Europe are just slightly taller hatch backs, as are most crossovers these days.

Yeah, but a side window is likely quicker and easier than a front windshield designed not to shatter. If you want to get to the kid quickly, it’s the hardest window to go after, and not the best choice.

Sure, I mean that’s the goal in reality, they want more money for other programs, not really about the environment.

Yeah, I was think more state to state, really hard to pass a single one nationally since the states are quite different as you illustrated here.

Registration by weight is already a thing here in California, but if it’s not a Tesla Model 3, it’s an F150 on the roads here.
