That’s a very astute observation. I definitely prefer the rounded production version of the ES, but it was interesting to see what designs they considered. I’m glad they went with the (now) iconic approach.

Under normal circumstances I would be super hyped about RSD. But this year? Most of the online stuff is a pain to compete with and the only good stuff is in store only (from my POV).... so I’ll just suffer with my collection of 4000 CDs and a couple thousand digital releases (and start to rip my old vinyl to digital).
I’m not going to confirm whether I just texted him with a reference to this post... but that could have happened in a universe like ours.

It might seem an odd choice, but I danced with my mother to this song at my wedding. This song defines a period of my childhood and cannot be separated from it. And I wanted to share that with her. (We’re both huge Prine fans, but the Raitt / Streetlights version is THE version for us).
