Ever since I discovered Deadspin, its become one of my favorite daily routines. It makes me laugh at least three times a day, gives me something to seriously think about once or twice a week, let’s the readers get to know the writers better than any other blog/website and has the sharpest, funniest commenters…

Playing hockey for any length of time will actually kill your sense of smell as your brain tries to compensate for the ungodly stench of your pads and underclothes and such. When I was playing regularly, my sense of smell was actually diminished. I could hardly smell or taste anything.

I dunno. You seem pretty smart.

40 years old, here, grew up in California. It’s always meant drug stuff to me, but then I wasn’t invited to much sex stuff.

Zero. None. Don’t shit where you eat, don’t dip your pen in the company ink, etc. etc. Don’t bone co-workers or roommates (unless the person is your roommate because of a boning relationship). Your life will be much easier.

That is weird, and that it wasn’t mentioned means it’s going to become a story eventually.

It looks like he can put some English on it, and the height means more velocity than your typical lob serve, and maybe you have to worry about losing it in the sun (or the lights at night)? But no, a good jump serve would be harder to return. Of course, a good jump serve is hard to execute.
