Well. I, for one, would gladly pay extra for a more accurate GPS chip/implementation, all else being equal. Not $100 extra, but a decent bit more. Good standalone GPS units cost at least that much.

Out of curiosity why did you go for a GS6? Many see it as a step backwards from the S5.

The Dual Drive almost had me. But Amazon’s “deal” - $11.76 with tax - is less than a dollar away from the next highest price - $12.49. In fact, if we’re going to be pedants and distribute the cost of 2-day Prime among purchases (assuming 100 prime-eligible orders/yr and no movie/music streaming), Amazon’s is more

That Bluetooth keyboard has a really tiny backspace key...considering it’s one of the most often-pressed keys on a kepboard I’d look for a better option.

yeah, I just got the deal with another groupon account. Apparently there’s a period after each purchase that you can’t re-order from the same device or something.

Word. I literally got in seconds before it sold out. Wanted to try again with my other 5 groupon accounts, but nope.

That kitchen scale is nothing special; there are many models at $10 and cheaper normally, all with great reviews. Unless you’re a drug dealer you won’t care if they’re a tenth of an ounce off.

I didn’t know about the effects of leaving the batteries fully charged. Thanks for the tip!

Oh, I don’t necessarily need a hub. Just a multi-port charger. I think I’ll end up getting one during the deals that are posted here. Powered USB hubs are too finicky, from what I’ve read.

Thirty-two dollars, man.

Well, first off, even $15 is expensive for me. (I’m a student). That’s two or three days’ worth of food alone. Actually, it would cost about $16-18, once we factor in tax (depending on seller) and distribute the cost of my $49 Prime membership. (Did I mention I’m tight on money?)

Those are some very useful links, thanks! It’s really a toss-up with regard to powered USB hubs, especially cheap ones.

Thanks, but I’m trying to use my existing wall adapters. I don’t want to invest in a new USB hub (and outlet hogger)

I used a standard cheapo generic hub. But, as others pointed out, that won’t work for what I’m doing.

Also, here’s a question. I have a 2A wall charger and several devices to charge. I want to buy a 4-port USB hub and plug it into the charger, so each device gets 500mA. But the last time I tried this, each port only got about .125A, not .5. Anybody know why? Is there a 4-way hub that works for this purpose? Thanks!

Spot on. I remember reading AF in middle school, but still found the books enjoyable as a high schooler.
