Yeah, I got that. But what's THEIR beef with US? What is the origin of this conflict? Is either side justified in aggression? Right now all I've got is that aliens and humans are fighting. And there are no characters.

Man, what a GENERIC trailer! No discussion of why the bad guys are bad or what they've done or why I should care. Just... bad aliens on the moon. Go shoot them. "Fulfill your destiny and become legend!". What destiny? Who is destined for what? Why is there not a single CHARACTER in this?

I get 32

That's fair. I would say that Jak 1 is all ages, but Jak 2 and 3 I would withhold until age 12-13 depending on the kid. I mean, it's still not VERY objectionable. I think damn and hell is it for language, and the combat stuff is about on a GI Joe/Justice League level. Yeah, dudes are getting shot, but it's not

QUOTE | "What is the equivalent of a Pixar film in the video game industry, where adults and kids can have fun together? They don't exist right now."—Jenova Chen, designer of Journey, on the "huge markets" that await game developers.

So how many inputs are there on this thing? I'm counting 11 buttons (4 shoulders, 4 around the touch screen, and 3 along the bottom). Then 1 touch screen and 2 haptic pads. I dunno, doesn't that seem a little bit... low? I'm thinking of some of the more complex/button intensive games on recent gamepads and I'm not

I would like to offer you a job in the US government. We need men like you with a sound understanding of what sort of people it is and is not acceptable to shoot.

I gladly make that trade. I will sacrifice my right to act like a sub-human animal in internet comment sections in return for protection from others doing the same.

Has the 3DS been cracked open for piracy yet? I hadn't heard that that's a thing. After how incredibly badly R4 carts hurt the DS in it's later lifespan, I kinda thought the 3DS would have protection worth a damn.

What a jerk! If someone doesn't have a prestigious enough employment his/her views on unrelated topics (such as parenting) are less valid?

Turtle Rock - the Left 4 Dead guys. What they did with different characters with their own preset "class" and their abilities was really good. I see that translating to an FPS with a JRPG "party" with different abilities and Chrono Trigger combo attacks real well.

In the short term: No. Handhelds and multiplayer and Nintendo are the future of Dragon Quest for at least the next 2-3 years. People who want another giant single player HD game in the style of DQ VIII are not going to get that any time soon. The DS and 3DS have been WAY too good to Dragon Quest for Square Enix to

Nope. There are a few JRPGs that went Mediterranean with their settings (FF XII, Star Ocean 3) but none went as far as Arabian that I've heard of. Apologize for the disappointment.

It's a wash. Kingdom Hearts? 3DS. Tales? Probably Vita (eventually, though right now all either has is the Abyss port on 3DS). Fire Emblem? 3DS. Final Fantasy Tactics? Probably Vita. Hard SMT? 3DS. Modern less punishing SMT AKA Persona? Vita. Old school Dungeon Crwling? 3DS. New School monster hunting

Just find the scrubbiest player on the other team and charge them whenever they show their face farming a lane. Build Mask of Madness as your first item and activate it just before your charge makes impact. Get a solo kill or three like that and pretty soon you can rush down even non scrubby players if their hero is

He isn't competitively, but he's way too easy to get maximum potential out of. There are a couple of balance "problem children" out there who if they get buffed enough to be competitively viable then they crush pub games way too hard. Drow is one, SB is one, Viper is one. SB's pub winrate in this patch is WAY out

That is SAD

No, that's the nerf. SB is getting the same greater bash benefits as far as damage/stun, but sometimes if it was interacting with other stuns (even his own!) it wouldn't knock back properly which meant that SB could "stick" to a character without having to run after the knockbacks. Basically, he was sticking to
