Yep! IRC is the same. Also, it takes a little more knowledge/experience in peacebuilding to know if their philosophy, model, and programming is actually helpful (you can be really financially responsible and your programming be not really meeting the needs) but both Save The Children and IRC are top-notch in both…
I love that they clearly did their research as to who they would donate to. Both Save the Children and IRC are recognized in the humanitarian and peacebuilding fields as doing some of the best work.
Yeah. BUT the IRC has a consistently stellar rating on CharityNavigator and I’ve seen the work they do firsthand - it’s really topnotch as far as large international aid orgs go.
I get what you’re saying here but usually that’s an indication/insinuation of pain-med seeking behavior. She asked for oxygen - that’s not drug-seeking behavior.
Yeah, that’s kind of my point. To be fair to the teacher though, we have no idea if she offered accomodations for students who would have trouble.
And if it wasn’t an issue for you it must not be for anyone!
But is there access to the public library? My community had a great public library system, but it was rural, and you would have had to drive, so if you didn’t have a car.... catch my drift?
Ha! Sounds like you’re at least an adventurous picky eater!
Ironically I’m the pickiest eater EVER so Graffiato is great because we can get all the fancy stuff and then also a cheese pizza.
Okay burning question you might not be able to answer: is Tom a dick? Like you can kind of tell he’s a dick but not necessarily in a bad way, but I’m a little scared he’s a REAL dick.
My boyfriend and I do the same! I went to Mike Isabella’s Graffiato in DC for my bday and it was pretty incredible - get the pepperoni sauce. My boyfriend has also been to Kapnos (which is him and George from Boston) and liked it a lot, but I’m not sure what he got. OH and we went to Pork Slope in NY by Dale Talde…
Well, there’s a couple differences between going to a brand’s counter in a department store and going to Sephora. The people at the brand’s counter may be more knowledgable about their specific brand, but the people at Sephora will know of more products overall. It’s good to think about your primary concerns before…
I’ve had Park Avenue Princess for literally YEARS and I love it so much. You can use it for a light glow, or for a subtle contour on your cheeks or whatever. It’s just the best.
Yes. Also, wasn’t Smashbox created and marketed on the basis that it was what models wore to look good in photographs?
Okay, that wasn’t a pleasant conversation, but I was also respectful and compassionate while confronting you WHICH IS WHAT YOU ARE CONSTANTLY CLAIMING TO WANT.
LOL I’ve commented to you twice but that’s regularly? Oh Gretchen I’m sorry people hate you because you’re just SO popular. So much for your introspection sob story huh?
There is so much wrong with this statement I can’t even. I don’t understand why you’re seeking to blame these kids mother, I don’t understand why you’re being so callous about these kids’ burns. Regardless of whether these kids had “real” third-degree burns, their mother sent them to daycare one morning, assuming they…
I doubt she was walking very far - this looks like she was at an event or something, not just out for a stroll.
I mean, if anyone is the keeper of the bat signal for CLT, it’s me, given that I’ve posted there four times. Come on Gideon.
