The discussion isn't whether smoking hurts people around you. It's whether the stigma helps. It doesn't.

This campaign is intended to highlight the attitudes toward women in society. Not to advocate for the banning of search terms. I'm not sure if you've intentionally missed the point and are just trolling or what.

Yeah that stuck out to me as well as a flaw in an otherwise incredible campaign.

I think the stigma against smoking is doing more harm than good. I mean, look at these comments. "I judge smokers more harshly than almost anyone else."

A performance is planned, rehearsed, you're in control of it. An interview is totally different.

Oh I totally forgot that Nick Cannon was on Nickelodeon. Okay, yes, him. Although he did marry Mariah Carey....

Yeah for sure. But it's also TV Guide.

I don't even have an issue with Kenan, I just think this was a stupid comment that he didn't think through all the way. I doubt he thinks there are no black women comedians up to par for SNL.

I'm actually really just not putting that much thought into it. It's not like I'm walking around to people saying "YO THAT KENAN IS A MOTHERFUCKER" I'm just responding to something I read in a silly article.

Sigh. I'm not saying he should have dissed the people he works with. I'm saying he shouldn't have said anything!

I think that holding people accountable for saying bullshit things is different than just being mean. Like "I'm attacking you personally because I didn't like the ending of Lost" is so different than "You're an idiot because the things you say are offensive and stupid."

I think non-medication therapy is vastly underused, and I think it's because insurance companies don't want to cover it because it's not a "quick fix." But honestly, if it works, it's better in the long run IMO.

Isn't Vanity Fair a step or two above a gossip magazine?

Right! There are so many details that I need to be aware of.

What? No. I find that wholly unacceptable.

I don't think sexism is decent, and I think that perpetuating the myth that women don't succeed in comedy because they're not good enough is sexism.

Yeah I've seen commercials for him!

I mean, I can read. I didn't think he said there weren't any, and that's not what this article said.

POST RESEARCH UPDATE: He is not any kind of ordained theologian, just very devout.

Or Rev Run?
