I love the Jag! I’d junk the ancient SBC and whatever 3-speed slusher it has for a modern 6.0 EFI LS and overdrive trans. Keep ‘er quiet and smooth with a stock-ish cam, manifolds, and quiet exhaust and smash in (relative) silence!

Yeah, no. That’s a lot of miles and the dull paint job doesn’t do it any favors, either. I’d rather have the next generation ‘bird with the 4.6. Toss some decent heads, a supercharger and a 5-speed at one of those and see where things go.
Like many second children, this one was a mistake.
The Cimarron did not and still does not have any redeeming qualities. This one doubles down on the awfulness with a hideous landau roof and brown-gold paint that looked dated the second it left the spray gun. “Cute” is so far from reality that you just gotta be trolling.
That looks like a great way to fill my new car with smoke and grease and /or set it on fire!
It’s Texas. They’ll probably get a Freedom Trophy and tix to a Trump rally.
Looks pretty damn good for a sub-$30k ride!
I thought half the point of doing business in Texas was the ability to pollute the fuck out of whatever you want.
It has become oddly more charming and I want to slap myself for saying that. Beating on turbo manual PT has gotta be hilarious, though.
Oh, cool! You have a link? I will drive instead of fly anywhere that’s within a 10-hour drive.
Proof that the best off-roader is a vehicle that you give zero shits about.
Is there a such thing as a “two-hour” flight? When you factor in getting to the airport and all of the hubbaballu you mentioned above, a flight that’s in the air for two hours takes more like 6-8 hours from end-to-end on a good day.
Kia/Hyundai have some smokin’ lease deals, too. For example, an three-year EV6 Wind RWD lease: $2k down, $13k lease bonus and 15,ooo miles a year is less than $400 a month. Lower trim models with lower mileage (I personally can’t do less than 15K) are freaking beer money at like $250 a month.
If you actually count the cost of storing and maintaining the damn thing, I'm sure you'd be well in the red, too!
On top of that, the first one had body damage, and the second got a notification of a malfunction and seemed to ignore it.
Bring back red velour!
Why anyone would buy this for anything but an investment is beyond me. You gotta be playing a looooooong game to get any return on it, too. Then again, most of these will be wrecked, stolen, or modified beyond repair then stolen and wrecked in a couple of years, so maybe it will work out.
Yup, the little leap they were able to make may have kept them from getting smashed between the pickup and the UPS truck!
Yeah, or falling asleep at the wheel. I assume they’re looking into the fire.
This isn’t a “durability test”, it’s just a couple of annoying dumbfuck YouTube bros breaking shit for the lolz.
