Corolla Cross customers are virtually sedated by the end of the test drive so it’s pretty easy to slip a couple hundred bucks of ceramic coatings, tire nitrogen, and floormats past them without being noticed.

That was my takeaway as well. The last gen Jetta was so ugly it seemed intentional and the new one is much more handsome. 

If we just stopped doing two completely useless things—generative AI and crypto mining—we could make a pretty serious dent in carbon emissions. We would also reduce the even more noxious emissions of people talking about crypto and generative AI.
