I was looking at the EV6 and Ioniq 5 around that time and dealers were marking them up $15-17k. That’s completely absurd so I passed and got a Polestar with zero markup. You’d have to be pretty damn foolish to pay a premium like that on any non-potential-collector car, as this dude apparently was.

Lucky for them there are still hundreds of ICE models to choose from and will be for many years to come. It’s one of the reasons all the whining about being “forced” into EVs is so silly. The other being that most of those doing the whining will be dead well before ICE cars go anywhere.
