It was made illegal in Thailand because it was competing with opium, with was highly taxed. Kratom grew everywhere and therefore couldn’t be taxed. It was an economic decision, not a safety one.

Otherwise he would just pouring money back into much less risky investments than start up auto, solar and spaceflight companies.

Colonization and exploration are very different things. If you look at the history of colonization people died. Lots of people died. That’s not even counting indigenous peoples. That is a whole different conversation. It is a hard, ugly process. This is something NASA frequently glosses over
