No other hybrid model has had the fuel efficiency, space utilization, and reliability of the Prius. Some are coming closer now, but the Prius is still king of the hybrids.

Mainstream automakers are finally catching on to the fact that no one said an electric vehicle had to look — or drive — like an under-powered jelly bean.

I think it was Musk who said something like: When everything has an electric drivetrain, design will sell cars.

Rapheal strikes me as the automotive business equivalent of the guy who never played or coached a down of football in his life, has no insights during the game, but breaks down everything a team did wrong and what he would have done (with 20/20 hindsight) after the game.

Neutral: Well, if every other carmaker has it right, then the first step for BMW should be to make a mid-sized truck.

Short of running an extension court out my window down to the street I don’t see how I would charge it in the city without paying a parking garage to let me park and charge there which doesn’t lead to the savings I would hope for in making the switch.

It would do about as well here as the Smart car did. Or the iQ. Or the Think. Or the....
