If there were just too many plants in the global system....why do they keep building new ones in cheaper labor markets?

Service part warehouses shut down too. No part, no repair work using “GM parts”.
No shit Sherlock, which GM plants? All of them?
Years ago, I worked for a GE plant that would do that shit. Plant would run wide open too long. Union would file a bullshit grievance and go on strike for 2-3 weeks (until inventory came back in line). Union reps would decide that it really wasn’t that big of an issue and send people back to work. Everything is…
Any idea which plants they are striking?
“Gold Coast” vehicles have their own set of regulations for everything. Some US regulations overlap, some don’t.
like Mazda 2 = Yaris?
They want everyone in EVs
Gas tanks for hybrids have been like this for a while. A 20 gallon tank in a gas burner only fills to 15 or so gallons on a hybrid, due to a different shut off valve. Both cars end up with the same driving range.
She is a sexy thing, but will she actually make a good wife?
No. It is not better than Chick-fil-a. It is a nasty, greasy, mess. ...and the pickles are funky.
I pretty much don’t trust any auction. I have seen too many “ghost bidders”.
That is pretty novel, but I don’t see drop in batteries ever being legal for cars in the US. They need to be secured such that they don’t become charged projectiles in the event of a rollover crash.
BEVs will be the same. Not enough people will buy them.
The are small fires at the dragstrip all of the time. Most car owners deal with it themselves very quickly...so their shit doesn’t burn to the ground.
OK. Pop the trunk.
Track sweepers, burnout box attendants and christmas tree operators. They are not FIREFIGHTERS.
Car owner should have popped the hood and pulled a battery cable off.
Burning car with 65 psi of fuel and enough flow capacity to support 1000 horsepower. I’m not volunteering to pop that hood with the fuel pumps running. Can you say “vietnam era flame thrower”?.
No. Their job is to make sure the racing surface is clean/prepped and to operate the clocks. ...you know, give people a place to drag race.
