Oh my god, me too! And SIDNEY SHELDON!! lol

I LOLed. Well-played.

Well, I think we know what this guy wants...

Nah, it can go either way. Simply depends on the editorial style guide. I mean, assuming that an editorial style guide exists! ;)

“callous and completely inhumane” to whom?

OH MAN, WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL ME THIS LIKE 2 WEEKS AGO?? I’m in the of writing my highly conventional cards right now. I want to do this next year. I know my husband and kids would be on board entirely!

We just got a card from my husband’s aunt and uncle. It’s the first time she has included a family letter. She’s newly retired and clearly has a lot of time on her hands. Actually, she did talk about that angle. She interviewed an expert on the topic as well. I just finished listening to teh series, and it’s fresh in my mind.

Don’t get out much these days, I guess? I hope the folks at Meals on Wheels are good to you.

Maybe someone has already posted:

We do. Except the fat brunettes like me. We’re invisible.

I assume you’re referring to Bourdain. (These threads are so damn hard to track!) That’s actually something I like about him. He completely knows that he’s a journeyman chef at best, and he’s not in the same league as the greats. And he completely gives off the impression that he feels incredibly lucky—and that he’s
