I struggle with it from a strictly grammatical point of view. (Yes, I am a bit of a pedant.) I really wish we had a widely adopted non-gendered singular term. I’ve seen, I believe, “hie” used — or maybe it was “hir,” but it takes a lot of explaining. At least “they” is pretty intuitive.

yes, me too! They are the anchors that keep me coming back. huh... dramatically fewer page views from me in the future.

GASP!

I couldn’t agree more. Grilled cheese and tomato soup are best friends. Nay, soulmates!

Do you have any handy Bible verses (preferable New Testament, natch) that would be appropriate responses? I have a couple of these friends as well.

I feel like grilled cheese might be really his favourite. So basically I believe everything you said.

Arts and crafts. Painting. Colouring. Make something pretty!

Knitting! Honestly, it’s like meditation for me. I learned to knit when I was about 7, about 35 years ago (oh man! I’m old!), so it’s very much muscle memory. I can think or not, zone out or focus, binge watch, converse, or even read while I knit. It’s very restorative.

Maybe it’s more about the individual (Jenner) than the larger issue.

Thanks for your response! It’s hard to get a simple answer from the Google machine on this one. ;)

Thanks! I figured it worked different state by state or level by level. In Canada, we have no elected judges at any level. All appointed. There are sometimes arguments around the need for judicial elections, but it would seem that’s not a perfect solution either (no surprise).

Non-American asking this question: are all judges elected in your system?

Oh. Dear.

Because it’s “fancy.”

I actually had to dip in and out of the article. I couldn’t take it all in one fell swoop.

Ha! That’s so... unfortunate. You are a nicer, kinder (more practical and farsighted?) person than me. I’d mark up that badness with proper proofreading symbols.

Oh, found it! Door # 3! :)

I need more information here.

I gues’s so. ;)

Unique! Special!
