I don't know that it's necessarily "the way reviewers play" so much as it is that these types of games, particularly Soul Sacrifice, are by design very repetitive. They are games that you as a player accept their flaws and look past them because you enjoy the core, but a reviewer's job is to point out those flaws and

I'm pretty sure they added that into trailers AFTER the game released and all the controversy was in full swing, in which case people had already spent their money on a product that was not what it was advertised to be.

Exactly, I fail to see the real point of this article. And I use the term article incredibly loosely.

Pretty much this. I'm all for someone being bold and speaking their mind, especially someone in a position like Phil Fish. But you can be bold and speak your mind in a manner that doesn't come off as being a dick. Many of the things he's said that have gotten him shit have had legitimate criticism in them, but because

I feel like you can't defend a man for "speaking his mind" regardless of what that entails but then tell everyone else to keep their opinions about him to themselves.

I was incredibly impressed by the Deus Ex one.

Anarchy Reigns feels like a huge 3d Smash Bros game and I love it, especially Battle Royale.

Holy crap I'm not the only one who owns this game?? Wow now I kinda wanna plug my ps2 up again and give it another go.

I just recently finally got around to playing Planescape Torment for the first time (because I didn't get my own pc til I graduated high school in 07 so I grew up on console games and not all these old crpgs) and I absolutely loved it, it got me really excited for Torment: Tides of Numenera.

Nah I get it and I do appreciate it. It was refusing to start Steam in general after I told it to reset in Offline Mode. I googled it on my phone and people were saying that they had had the problem before. Some suggested that "Don't save credentials on this computer" might have been checked, but when my internet came

Yeah the executables all tried to start Steam which wasn't working. Would a fresh install force me to redownload my games as well? Cuz if so that's out of the question, my Steam folder is 413 gb lol.

I do have the latest version of steam and I have Windows 7 64 bit. I'm not claiming that this happens all the time, I'm just saying that the fact that you can get locked out of your stuff like that makes it not great.

It's supposed to, but it bugs out. The other day my internet went out and it told me to swap to offline mode when I tried to start a game so I told it to reset to offline mode, when offline mode tried to start it said that it couldn't sign me into offline mode and I was locked out of all steam games for the 5 hours

That's fine if you know your internet is gonna go out, but 4 days ago a storm rolled in and my internet went out and nothing anyone suggested would let me get on Offline mode. You shouldn't have to prepare for offline mode. It should be as simple as, "oh there's no internet? Tada, offline mode."

Until your internet goes out and the buggy offline mode Steam has refuses to work, then you get to wish you could play any of your Steam games.

Kinda gives me an updated Breath of Fire 2 feel, though I only ever played one Lunar game and that was Lunar Legend on the GBA a long time ago haha.

I really like the look of that Echoes of Eternia screenshot.

I think it would be cool for them to swap it up, but at the same time the whole point of the recurring Zelda and Link figures is that they are sort of being reborn and it wouldn't make a lot of sense for them to suddenly be reborn completely differently. I DO think they could afford to have Zelda join Link on an

It could be a non lab created evolution of Mew perhaps? Like a natural evolution for Mew.

Okay the Bioshock one is pretty awesome.
