It is literally Zelda and Final Fantasy combined and it swaps back and forth between the two styles. At one point it even becomes Diablo for a bit. It's excellent.

It's not as out of place as you'd think as it fits the character. You can learn through the game that in Wounded Knee Booker was known for being the most overly violent soldier they had.
You make some good points but as far as your thought that Infinite probably shouldn't be a shooter I feel that it should be, as running around gunning down people without much of a second though really matches Booker's back story of being ruthless during Wounded Knee and it really puts his morals at odds with…
I enjoyed it in the GBA Chain of Memories because the setup was nice, but in RE: Chain of Memories it felt like they just took KH combat and restricted it with cards, which made you want to mash away at the enemy but then your cards would run out.
The fact that you automatically assume that people who liked the game are lying and people who don't like it are telling the truth says a lot about this conversation.
I'm sorry, what? What does Sim City have to do with the "not yet" on this review? "Actually tells you the truth about the quality of the single player" Do other reviewers lie? "Bases their review of the multiplayer on the product available at launch rather than a mock up?" Well the game hasn't launched yet, and the…
Well, at least they gave it a proper score rather than saying "check back later!"
Nobody cares about your love life marker boy!
I would disagree that the evolution missions are a waste of time, they let you try out each of your options in action before making the permanent choice. They're not very long so they don't get in your way, they do nothing but help.
Well really you're not "avoiding paying for downloadable content" because you don't have to pay to get resources in the first place, glitch or not.
That's the thing though isn't it, if your "scoring" system doesn't add anything to the review then why is it there? I'm not a big fan of scoring in general because I think the review should speak for itself, but atleast numbered reviews leave you with a scale to go by, kotaku's yes/no is so extreme that it doesn't…
First off I do agree that the combat in DMC3 was amazing but the first majority of DMC4 wasn't in my opinion and as far as "weak" weapons I'd again point you towards DMC4 in which Nero's gun was incredibly pointless. But the whole point of the combat system in DMC is that you don't HAVE to choose a weapon style…
The fact that you're so quick to dismiss people who like the new combat as people who don't "actually play DMC well" shows that you don't WANT to be pleased. The scythe is weaker because it's faster and hits multiple enemies, the axe is slow because it's powerful. There are plenty of reasons to personally prefer the…
Except that the combat isn't gimped. Out of about 6 reviews I've read for this so far and from personal experience with the demo everyone seems to agree the combat is fun. Yeah getting your rank up is easier but that's just a letter that appears on the screen, that's not the gameplay itself. I agree about the…
I feel like assuming they just through rape in for no good reason is a bit childish. People are quick to throw off the Far Cry 3 story as ridiculous and just a bunch of Alice in Wonderland quotes and magic tattoos, ignoring the symbolism and the parallels between Alice and Jason. Newsflash folks, the tattoos aren't…
I agree 100%
You beg for a skip button but ever since the first Fable game I've been afraid to skip video game credits. I've sat through many a long ass credit sequence thanks to that.
I'd love to see more games in the same universe utilizing all that lore behind it but without being directly related to Dishonored.
Have you tried the 3D sections in Sonic Generations? I found them to be a lot more fun than I was expecting.
Exactly, the better this does the more great games Platinum will put out for the system and the better both Platinum AND Nintendo will be.
