I have had an absolutely massive crush on this car ever since it appeared in an issue of Popular Mechanics. I believe it was a cover story. Does anyone have photos of the car in the original red, white and blue livery? I think the issue was mid 90's.
I'll put it in plain terms:
Let me rephrase: the amount of torque that this truck produces is completely irrelevant to both its towing capacity and on-road performance. The massive amount of torque produced is to fulfill a requirement that horsepower is made across a broad powerband. The fact that it is a diesel means that more torque must be…
I'm not sure you understand. I can make 1000 N-m of torque with my arms. Hell, I could generate 1,000,000 N-m of torque if I wanted to, using nothing more than my puny biceps. That doesn't mean I can pull a trailer up a hill at 55km/hr.
Even disregarding the commercial market for these trucks (where the bed would likely be removed and replaced with a service bed) the percentage of these trucks being used to actually tow something very heavy will far outweigh those sold to be a daily driver for some soccer mom. These trucks are a natural evolution to…
I don't know if you noticed...But it appears that your plane ate some poor helicopter.
Wow, came down to post the same thing! I'd take mine mudding in my sandbox then have simulated flat tires that I could change out. I think in some ways it was a stand in for my dad's '72 K5 Blazer, which I had plenty of fond memories inside of dating back to as early as I can remember.
Well, there is a reason it's called a "water jacket."
The F-35B pictured is the United States upcoming vertical takeoff/landing fighter. The U.S. could potentially export these to friendly countries (such as Japan). I doubt that most other countries could swing the extra cash for the VTOL variant however, and the U.S. would probably want to retain that technology…
He was in the process of thinking "oh crap, my dashcam isn't on..."
Remember, work and pleasure are not to be mixed! EVER! If you need to haul something you WILL use an American pick-up and you will not attempt to corner! You may not, under any circumstances, have a vehicle that fulfills more than one need!
Nice, it's even a No. 2 seater.
I don't know, I think the only piece that doesn't match up with the factory layup directions is the small trim piece behind the front wheel well. Other than that everything looks EXACTLY like production. I'm not sure if you were focusing on the brake cooling inlets, but they're symmetric side/side in this photo.
I find myself attracted to this idea. I might have to head South to check it out. Maybe it can help me reach pole position...
Fister Roboto.
"The best part is that he's learning."
That is super clean...I've been looking for a skin/widget like that clock display for quite some time, what is it?
Well golly, don't let the fact that 4 out of 6 of these two bills sponsors were Democrats get in your way. One of the remaining two (Carlucci) is an Independent Democrat.
Because propellers and rotor blades are governed to subsonic operation, we can approximate the maximum shutter speed of the camera. In the case of the Tiger helicopter, the rotor speed must be governed to less than 1100 feet/second. Because it is a helicopter, the forward component of vehicle velocity should be…
Check the post date and do what? Was I supposed to say "Well, I guess the statute of limitations prevents me from a contradictory opinion this long after the fact" ?
