I bought these cars because I like them. Period. I am just saying one of the side effects is indeed women hitting at you. It may vary from place to place on the type of women, if they hit you or not and so on. I am just stating my own experience regarding owning such vehicles. So I am not being theoretical here.

You need a car to get women as they normally do not simply show up at your door randomly. At least not in Canada.

Not saying I need a car to get women. I am saying you DO GET MORE WOMEN with certain cars. Do not ask me how I know that.

Very low latency not accounting for a bunch of beers he may have had before driving. And the Wifi, or any other RF for the matter, can be easily fixed with a 100W transmitter. May not be legal but we are just discussing the technical aspects of it. LOL

And 1/19th of the women. I will take the Ferrari. Two actually.

Thing is you can find many Caymans ON CARMAX. You then get their 60-year warranty with 10,000,000 miles and you are set for life. This comment was approved by Doug "CarMaxFanBoy" DeMuro.

Well it is not THAT bad. Yes, maintenance on anything that is Italian will cost you a penny. First, most people do not know this but all metal parts used on Ferraris and Lamborghinis are actually forged in the Middle Earth by highly trained White Elves that speak Italian. With iron brought from Moria. That shit has to

I would not call his current setup with manually activated switches low latency… Before you ask, yes, I am an Electronics Engineer.

To get a WiFi gated shifter paired with the RPi? Geez man I think big. BIG.

FLAPPY SHIFTERS from a BMW M5! If he does the Raspberry Pi I will happily pay for the shifters and ship them his way!!!

I bet we could replace all that with a Raspberry Pi! Then upload new transmission code over Wifi. THAT would be something amazing. Of course his work is already awesome but something like this would take it to new levels. LOL

Great to see the 650S out! This means in a couple months you will be able to pick up a 12C for $100,000 as the owners will start dumping them. Love that. Next one to the list…

I know exactly what you mean. I bought a V12 BMW 7-Series (E38) from a lady that owned it since new. She had every single receipt for all work done and even had extended warranty. Car had 110,000 miles on it and was pretty much mint. Got it for $8,900. As I have mental issues, every single thing has to work on the car

I know exactly the feeling of having your little one driving around with you. Here is a pic of my son, my weekend copilot, that goes with me to all the car meetings and loves everything with engines and wheels and knows all of them by brand, at age 2. He loves the Lamborghini and its sound. And loves the Porsche

The key thing to understand when buying such cars (I own a V12 BMW E38) is the price paid is just an entry fee to a much bigger hole or whatever you want to call it. That said, once you take good care of them and fix things BEFORE major damage happens (proactive maintenance) they run forever and require no more

Well the only things I can see here that are completely wrong is giving 10/10 for anything on any car. That means down the road, better cars with better whatever will be rated the same as this. This is exactly what YOU TRAVIS OKULSKI said to another Jalopnik writer that wanted to give a 10/10 for another category in

Agreed 100%. I have a V12 BMW E38 that thank Lord I found in mint condition and all service history. But yes, these cars in general are not treated well for the reason you mentioned. Nothing depreciates faster than a large v12 sedan but most people do not realize maintenance will not necessarily be cheap. To be honest

I am with you.

It is 'DA BEAUTIFUL' shit.

This same thing was there on the BMW 7-Series E38 from like 15-20 years ago…
