Are you sure? I can read/understand Portuguese and both the audio on the video and the news page mention a Golf.

It is a VW Golf.

HA! Dang. I stand corrected. Still think the M6 looks bad though. M5 much better looking IMHO. So replace all I wrote about X6 and X6M and Pontiac Aztek with M6 and Pontiac Grand Prix and we are almost at the same spot. LOL

I am getting 328HP at the wheel on my 2001 Boxster S with a 3.2L Flat-6 engine. Yes, some good massaging was done to the engine, ECU, etc but this is a 13 year old engine. I am sure with the advances in the past 13-years and proper tuning you can indeed get 400HP out of a Flat-4.

?

Two MASSIVE mistakes here. Let me list in order:

That is what I love on the Lamborghinis. Gallardo LP-560 means 560-hp. The Huracan, LP-610 means 610-hp. Add a 2 or a 4 and you know if the car is 2WD or 4WD. So the 3.0L Mercedes should be rebadged C329. Easy.

I love mine.

I will stick to the Gallardo. Normally I buy my cars for the long run (meaning not selling them ever - what creates a problem at home with the wife). I do have a manual Porsche and it is a blast. The R8, well I see no reason to go for it if you have a Gallardo. I guess my car collection is pretty much done, maybe

Yep. The E38 750iL when properly maintained is bullet proof. I know as I have one now at 120,000 miles. MINT.

I am actually writing an article on why I think the E38 will become a timeless classic. Love my V12 750iL and even gas mileage is not that bad when compared to much newer BMWs (like my wife's E83 X5 2.5l I6 - mine gets maybe 2-3MPG less). Amazing car and for sure WAY ahead of its time back when it was released (like

Not really that bad to be honest. My E38 V12 750iL had no issues whatsoever than what is typical for a car now at 120,000 miles. Bullet proof. I drive it daily even during winter (with proper winter tires) and it does get cold up here like -40.

Huracan for sure. Own a Gallardo and have driven a 458 around the track. Great car but even the Gallardo was pretty close to it, even though the project was almost 10 years older. The Gallardo was ground breaking at the time and even today, 10 years later it still looks modern. It aged amazingly well. The 458 as I

Not true. :-) The fact the new Lambo has no manual transmission means I am not buying a Huracan ever. Will stick to my 6-speed Gallardo. Time to start looking for something else for the future.

If we throw used cars to the mix this will get VERY interesting. LOL. When I bought my BMW E38 750iL I paid cash, US$ 8,900. 322HP. Or $27.63 per HP. THAT is a bargain.

Lucky you. My experience with my brand new Cayenne was not like that. Over 48 months it spent one full month at the dealer trying to get the electrical nightmares fixed. Add to the insult a bad design on the engine angle itself that leads to water accumulation and coils failing and you can clearly see Germans are

So far all electronic modules, from what I have seen, can be rebuilt by third parties so no need for new modules. In my case I am a little OCD so I am actually buying a whole M73 engine, rebuilding it, and storing on my garage so when time comes to work on the engine that is on the car I can simply put the new,

Well that can be said about any car with a selling price in the $1,500-$2,500 range, BMW or not, that is over 30 years old. If you want to fix anything properly, not buying Chinese Knock-off parts off Ebay, it will cost you money. Pretty money. BMW or not. It is very easy to spend $1,000 on parts alone to fix a 1990

I am with you Bro. Owned a Rondo for four years and it did its job extremely well. Would have bought this for sure if it was available back in late 2009.

My E38 still runs like new, 15 years later and now with over 120,000 miles on it. Best BMW car ever made. To this day 90% of all vehicles made lack many of the features that were standard on this model at the time. And was built like a damn German tank.
