The first of Scalzi’s works I read; I instantly became a fan. There’s a few genuine laugh out loud moments in the book.

Starting from the time lag confusion and the cat, going all the way through all the literary references and Cambridge eccentrics, to the Bishop’s Bird Stump, To Say Nothing of the Dog has me in giggles every time I reread it.

Laughed out loud through the first part. Mouth agape through the rest.

Are you kidding? It is like someone took all the greatest parts of 90s action movies and put them in a book specifically for me.

I’ve had a lot of fun with Ben Aaronovitch’s Rivers of London series. It’s about the secret team of Wizards working in London’s Metropolitan Police dealing with magical crimes. As someone who has spent a lot of time in London and knows a lot of coppers I think it’s great fun.

After years of watching Trek and other sci-fi shows, this felt just perfect.

Also, can we talk about how amazing the music on this show always is?

This was, and continues to be, the consistenly best show on television.

Still can't believe it's only on season 5. There's been so much plot & mythology built into these 4 seasons that I feel like it's already Season 6 or 7 by this point. It's such a brilliant show. I can only hope the streaming & syndication grows the audience & forces CBS to keep the show around for another 3 or more…
