I think you mean 12 months. But yes, an Epic exclusivity announcement is basically a 1 year delay to me. Though, some games have appeared on non-Steam platforms earlier than that (Metro Exodus, Outer Worlds, Mechwarrior 5, Phoenix Point, etc). I guess EGS exclusive really just means “Steam excluded.”
