Oh man I say “sounds good” way too much but even I might not use it in that context

Doesn’t matter, as upsetting and terrible as it is for both baby and mom. Plenty of bioethicists, professionals who devote their entire careers to questions like this, agree that after 24 weeks (this is being pushed earlier and earlier every decade it seems), the fetus is viable (regardless of dependence on…
Not really ‘new’ anymore 😞
There are two types of people in this world: those who can extrapolate from incomplete data.
Cure for Hep C?
“Only about 5,600 physicians (that’s one percent of American OB/GYNs)“
Here in CA we don't have those. 👊
DREAM job. Good pun.
Lol nobody in Atherton sends their kids to public school!
I don't know how much effort went into forming that equation but it was worth it, whatever it was.
I’m an intensive care physician, and want to clear a few things up, as I’ve not noticed any other comments addressing this important distinction. The article discusses legislation that would allow TERMINALLY ILL patients the right to be prescribed lethal medication, after making oral and written requests. This does…
Just another example of crazy people confusing “freedom of religion” with “freedom to bend society to your own particular religion at the expense of other peoples’ rights"

Agreed. Anti-motility agents (Lomotil, Immodium) are contraindicated for infectious diarrhea, as far as I know. Not a bad idea for your PCP to send stool cultures for bacteria, viruses, ova/parasites, etc if you have ongoing diarrhea. (Disclaimer, I’m not a PCP, but I do take care of critically ill patients ;-)
Well said
My neurologist wife did the same as a resident. What a nerd!
As an Anesthesiologst, my bag is quite different! Clipboard for our paper record and patient forms, stethoscope, pens, any given patients’ drugs for the case, and... My snack.
Prob neither. Botulism is the SYNDROME caused by infection with Clostridium Botulinum, which produces a toxin called Botulinum toxin (“Botox”). Infection can cause diffuse paralysis and respiratory failure and death. Injection of tiny amounts of the toxin only makes you look ridiculous.
Yeah, those are the only most talented CRNAs I’ve seen!
For those who appreciate it, there was a song in our annual med school spoof show entitled, “Hypoxic”, to the same tune. Genius.
