"One store's 8 is another store's 12 is another store's large."
I get that once in a while, you may want to get rid of a roll, or an unflattering line... and for that, we're all thankful for Spanx, but isn't a denim line a bit much?
Hi Jennifer,
I'm fascinated by her. I think the chances of her becoming posthumously immortalized as glorified Hollywood tragedy are high. I think she's lost, and I root for her because I think whatever she's battling is far bigger than anybody realizes. It seems, from an outside perspective, she can't turn to either of her…
"The Lohans on the other hand, care more about the lime light than helping their daughter."
She'll likely become a glorified, posthumous idol for the next generation (a la Marilyn Monroe), while her family rakes in the cash.
... you're not?
I mean, in hindsight, it's probably hard to understand. The only word I've ever used to describe Lanza (or any of the others) is heartless. And I guess, while there shouldn't be any further debates on gun control (it's obvious we need it), I don't understand why we don't focus just as equally on the other part of the…
Clearly you've never actually been "close to it."
Scroll up. I was accused of not caring about "dead kids very much." That's a ridiculous thing to say in general, but when you've been so close to it, comments like that strike nerves.
I still stand behind that quote only because if the people firing the guns had morals, hearts, or could even fucking think like normal members of society, we wouldn't have these tragedies every other day. BUT, I agree that something needs to be done. And maybe I didn't make that clear.
I don't care who said it. I'm not a religious person, which I thought I made very clear.
Well-said. And I wholeheartedly agree.
I'm not blind to it. Guns are far too accessible. BUT, look at the people who fire the guns. They're not normal, well-adjusted members of society. The solution is to make firearms near impossible for these people to obtain.
We have a gun problem. But we also have a heart problem. One feeds off the other.
No, I didn't. BUT, these are children I knew personally, families I know personally, and friends. The fact that I didn't birth the child didn't make it any less of a tragedy.
You're unbelievably wrong. I grew up in CT, very close to Sandy Hook, and I know several families who lost their children, and several friends who lost their friends. I'm absolutely for gun control. It's obvious that something needs to be done, as this is becoming a sick pattern. BUT... you also have to take into…
I'm not particularly religious, but I saw this and wholeheartedly agree with it. Unfortunately, fixing what is essentially a moral problem is much more difficult than fixing a gun problem.
We're bonded for life, sister.
It'd be a hell of a way to go.
