Not for nothing, but the majority of malicious code found on Windows nowadays is also rogue anti-malware or some other bad stuff that's sole purpose is to steal your money.

And for those of us who use uTorrent, here's a great BAT file I run at startup each time my computer reboots :)

The question that would be risen though is "can you already do this through Safari"?

I was going to say use the Accelerometer and see when it zeroes out, but I feel the GPS route is easier to find something more accurate anyway.

Bah bugger the math. Turn on GPS and have it log it's altitude every X seconds and just look when the damn thing straight lines. Empirical data FTW

Exactly... it's not his fault if his blogging software platform isn't updated by his webhost and is susceptible to various vectors of attack. Most likely it's an XSS attack that he has little control over.

I'm editing my comment for being an idiot. I see what you're saying and I obviously meant 7-bits, not 7-bytes. My bad.

Go look up the SMS standard. Then get back to me.

I lived in Melbourne, a stone's throw away from the Cape... the social atmosphere down there isn't really that great I guess you can say to begin with. There's some really nice areas and some really crappy ones. Needless to say, taking a chunk of NASA out of the picture will be realllly bad for the area.

I'd also like to point out that Android devices actually use SQLite to store it's SMS data, so overhead may be SLIGHTLY larger, but we're talking unfathomable numbers that in the real world would never happen.

Um dude... SMS is 160 characters long @ 7 bytes each (let's round that to 1.1KB)

Not saying you're wrong... but I'd take Forbes word over your Gizmodo status any day.

Agreed. It hasn't happened yet because Facebook won't allow it. It's not filled with animated GIF sparkle backgrounds and awful autoplay music.

+1

Sweeeeeeeeeeeet MIDI

True. Although I'd actually like to know what the ratio is of XP to 7 in the workplace. I have about 100 XP computers and about 5 Windows 7 ones. Just curious.

Not to stereotype... but do you really think those illegal immigrants care about Windows 7 anyway? :P

Ahhhh didn't even see the limitations in .NET and MSSQL... that really sucks.

Control Panel sucks... otherwise, their certificate prices you can't beat! I use them for multi-domain shit for my Exchange server and it's dirt cheap. $80-something a year? Shoot all the elephants you want!
