If you're out of toilet paper, don't wipe your ass with your hand! Just use any old tshirt lying around! That way, your hands are clean and your bum is happy!

I think if the user goes through a few years of basic CS courses and has programming languages developed in the 70s and 80s shoved down his throat just to be "cultured", you're stifling development even more so. I'm not saying Haskell is stupid to know, but let's be real here. Unless you're going DoD, you're not going

.NET's libraries are pretty optimized in terms of speed and efficiency, as is Object-C and any other cross-platform dev platform.

1) Set up two computers, offsite. You will also need internet access. Static or DHCP will do, but if the latter, make sure your firewall allows port 80 for HTTP server access.

Guess how much I care?

You realize since Exchange 2010, OWA works on every browser OTHER than IE6, which forces the Light version?

After hearing the person's name, I simply respond with "Janet... why the FUCK are you calling me when I'm blatantly on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY? How the fuck would you like it if this was you in my shoes and some obnoxious bitch..." etc etc etc

I think a more legitimate argument is the advancement in available APIs and simplicity of them as well. The x86 instruction set hasn't improved that much compared to the higher-level programming languages that at some point compile down to them (or other processors, too obviously). Look at .NET and all the crazy shit

Are you against the idea of using Citrix XenApp on a 2K3 install? It obviously is a LOT more than using XP mode, but if you have a 2K3 server lying around or possibly can still find an older server online that comes with 2K3 installed, you could get a few XenApp licenses and stream the app from one machine to all your

Highly recommend DivX 7 codec for streaming. Unsure how WHS works with it but MKV is no issue

I never really played games during any CS class as I didn't want to be classified as one of "those kids". I did have Digsby open though at all times, but OneNote right next to it.

Problem is it isn't related to Flash... even after uninstalled and restart, the problem persists. I still need to yank out my ATI drivers. Ugh now I'm worried that it has something to do with Patch Tuesday :(

Don't know if I'm the only person having this issue, but Flash 10.2 + Win 7 x64 + ATI 11.1 drivers are completely whacking out my second monitor. It's as if the second monitor's lower half flickers every time I scroll or maximize something. I've ensured all drivers are updated to latest versions. Uninstalled Flash and

@Jaredu: COOL GAME DEVELOPMENT!

Visual Studio, C#, done.

@Kaiser-Machead: You know... there was a time when you just said "yo bro hold on a sec I'll call you back"
