Most tearjerking thing I’ve watched in a long, loong while. Well it didn’t make me cry but man did I feel like crap for a while after (still kind of am). Yet I couldn’t stop watching it. Also brought me back to some classical I hadn’t listened to in ages. I recommend this show a lot but better have something to cheer

Just goes to show that gamers are a very flimsy community that will never truly support anyone or anything besides their own subjective vision of how things should be. The paying mods idea was flawed but if there truly was a community around this, it would have supported the modders and tried to push for fixes instead

Neat, though I would hardly call that gameplay, in the same sense Battlefront’s video also wasn’t exactly gameplay since it was shown from an observer pov. I do like the explosions though, color me intrigued.

True, there’s that too. I see that as a similar issue to kickstarter projects not being completed or supported as long as advertised. Something to hold modders who chose remuneration responsible over a certain duration would have to be enforced.

The only 2 issues I see are the 24h refund limit and the how the shares are decided. Honestly, if they gave a proper testing period for each mod and saw to it that the modder would get a fairer share for his work, I believe the initiative would have enough merits to stand.

Reddit has its ups and lows (there are some really great subs) but almost all of the gaming related subreddits are scoured by a lot of knee-jerking gamers who don’t have a particularly far sight. I’m absolutely not surprised he would be downvoted into oblivion for what he’s saying. I’m not apologising for him or his

Definitely a Deus Ex vibe here. Might be good, who knows.

So far, pure fun. The gunplay is stellar and the details in the weapons and animations are just awesome, and that comes from a fan of BF4 and DICE’s way of doing things (which they partly inherited from Tripwire from what I heard).

Hasn’t there been a sitcom on that already? Feels like an IT Crowd type show would have a lot of material right there. Props to you for weathering through all that ! I know I would’ve been depressed within a week, I suck with customers in general.

One very big point that sets Dishonored apart and is often overlooked in favor of its awesome mechanics is also its amazing level design. You can feel that the designers had fun creating those missions. Thinking up all those little paths, doors, rooms alternate ways to get to your objective.

They didn’t set them up to fail from the start. In fact the initial situation sounded very reasonable to me. 5M to make a solely multiplayer game with relatively low ambitions is fine. Where they screwed up is with their micromanaging of the game and scope creep. Like so many clients do.

With the ending DLC + if you have Leviathan, the ending is actually rather decent if you explore all the dialog options. On my 3rd game I loved the entire experience of ME3, because I was playing with all the DLCs (classic Bioware -_-).

If I remember correctly, stealth build actually had one advantage against her because she was weak to the tazer gun. At least that’s how I finally beat her, with a tazer and a bunch of picked up weapons I had zero proficiency with :D Yay outsourced bossfight !

You’re promoting understanding and rightfulness by calling a few hundred people who don’t agree with you: “garbage”. I mean... wow, you should proof read that kind of stuff :P

As far as the pace goes, I agree that at first the game isn’t the most exciting, but as you restart on high difficulties, eventually you pass through thousands of enemies in one level, and you’d better have the gear for it.

Yep they’ve worked on it but it’s still not nearly enough compared to the amount of content new players have to wrap their heads around.

I mostly agree, in the sense that as awesome as Warframe is, it has some glaring issues that appear after some hours put into it.

Always wondered how it compares to the absurd fun that is Chivalry.

I can vouch for Path of Exile and Warframe (well, TF2 as well but i don’t think I need to).

Do you have a tip for us poor folks on PC who would've loved to play this without spending 460$? :< Damn it, for once I don't find a From Software game to be a graphical eyesore, and it's completely exclusive.
