The rise of the mobile market and of digital in general is a good sign that traditional consoles will be obsolete relatively soon.

I guess my main problem with your statements is that they're very broad. You're categorizing AAA games as products that came out of the minds of suits.

They technically can coexist. But the cost of physical is higher than digital. So in the end, everything will go digital as it allows for more flexibility and decreased release costs.

The reality is much, MUCH more complicated than you make it sound with your broad statement that AAAs are "soulless products".

Well maybe we would've made a step in that direction with the original version of the Xbox One :P

I'm still playing Napoleon Total War with the Darth Mod which adds some pretty amazingly accurate units, feelings and numbers to the game. If you like the period and haven't tried this, I strongly suggest you do.

Now playing

Aah good ol' Henry VIII. Yea he was a headcase :P

Oh there have been kings and emperors who did much worse than nothing -_-'

You can look into his life, but I doubt you'd find anything deserving of the title.

Ok I see what you mean, but every rank besides Knight requires the previous one to be awarded, then it's based on a time period and I assume some kind of further evaluating?

You can thank our new president for that...

Being famous is obviously a highly regarded skill. Even though nowadays getting famous seems to be less and less associated with any sort of talent anymore. So many people in the world have done so much more with their lives than a lot of these "famous" folks.

Hard to take you seriously when you use the word "butthurt" but I'll try.

I would see it more like:

... I'm actually saddened by this.

Hope all the mods to enhance graphics will be compatible. This is nice, but only for comparison with the original game. Otherwise it's Skyrim level, which isn't bad, but never was particularly good vanilla :P

I consider any developer's work to have real value in our industry, whether they're small or big. Whether we take the controversy around Phil Fish or the one with ME3's ending, fanboyism (which I personally relate a lot to outright bullying at times) can dictate creative decisions that should be left in the hands of

And I never said it was. Not sure you read my whole post because I say at the end that Flappy Bird is a mistake I can't forgive a dev. It is blatant copy and paste that got lucky and hit the jackpot.

I see your point but I'm afraid it's too narrow imo.

Hmm iunno, I've had that feeling you're talking about a bunch of times now. I'd say that in BF3 I had it most in Rush, but Rush in BF4 is just... not good whatsoever (because of the maps).
But now we have Obliteration and I've had even more fun with that than with BF3's or BC2's Rush ^^ Heart pounding team oriented
