Holy shit thanks for the heads up !

Did you try playing BF4 with a squad of friends? I noticed that solo, the game is less fun than BF3, but squadding up, it's actually MORE fun. Teamplay and squadplay are more rewarded in BF4, whereas in BF3, going lonoe wolf MLG pro with your bolt action was almost the prefered alternative.

Most of my issues with the game are in game design, balancing and the "netcode" for me. Bugs have made themselves very rare for the past 2 months.

Then you speak of hyperboles? "like walking into a cancer ward"... don't use stuff like that jsut to prove your point. You're just using people's natural sensitivity to a certain situation which is NOTHING like the one at hand to force them into agreeing with your point or otherwise feel bad about themselves.

Eh, I don't see the irony. Maybe if you'd explained why you were bored by the video, or the ins and outs of your opinion on the game, well then I wouldn't have posted a comment :)

Really like the UI, great work on that.

See it's comments like this that are wrong with the gaming community nowadays. If you don't have anything nice to say about a project made by one indie guy, who's putting everything he's got into it, then how about just not saying anything?

Immersion is extremely important I agree. I'm a sucker for it myself, and anything that helps is good for me.

Meh, I definitely prefer femshep and the performance of the voice actress but I don't shout it one very roof and had a few playthroughs with male shep as well. That's why I can say that for me, she takes the cake acting wise. But that's just my opinion.

And how about for both? Or do you really need to be that elitist? :P

It has been a while indeed ^^ And the arbiter levels were some funny little stealth passages imo, a good attempt at changing up the dynamic of the game.

I wonder, if a similar batch of rumors went out about the PS4 what would the reaction be?

Halo 2 is my most played Halo by far so yea, I wouldn't be against something more HD myself. But hey, opinions, y'know ^^

Yay! another article on how gamers can really hurt gaming itself. We need more of those (not sarcasm), that and articles that educate as many gamers as possible on how games are made. Not just the "how to make a game for dummy" version, the one that goes into some amount of detail on each job and production

I found the loadout that gave me the most kills is the dual Swarm Missiles one, with the stalker mine or the shield. Haven't tried the healing power though so I'll have to give it a try.

Hah, I hear you. Origin is a pain, but don't forget steam was no better when it started off ^^ Hopefully that means we'll get something useable eventually...

Ok well it seems we'll stick to our respective guns then (hah, pun not intended). That's perfectly fine, and it just shows we're really involved in the subject :D

Now playing

Again, I have to strongly disagree and send you over to symthic.com to check spread comparisons, or just watch one of these vids:

Okay so: I've played a lot of RTS. They're all the same. You have units that you control from above and send to fight and win positions and ultimately crush your opponent's base.

So you prefer fast FPS rather than the more current brand which indeed derives partly from the first console based FPS. That's perfectly understandable and I get your disappointment that more fast FPS aren't coming out. I've poured a lot of hours into Q3 and UT (all versions except 3), as well as a bunch in CS and an
