Good list imo; I agree with almost everything, though FTL seems a bit small in the midst of all those huge titles, and it's also not the only one in his category (indie) so that's more up to each one's opinion (I for example prefered Gunpoint, Magicka, Mark of the Ninja, Path of Exile, or a number of other indies).

I have a friend who used to be a pro CoD player until MW3 and made the switch for BF3... hasn't touched CoD since and became pro in BF3 (by pro I mean 1100 or so spm and of course usually topping the server).

It's not happening to me anymore, but I have some counters to bar streaks. Just to cite one, when I'm doing badly, I find a Rush game on Damavand Peak, as a defender and mow down incoming attackers with an LMG.

Birgirpal is an awesome troll. Though lately I've lost interest in his videos...

Oh yea right, forgot about those monstrous flying death machines. Yea if they could go ahead and nerf those to the level of a scout helo or something, it'd be great. Right now they're the only source of constant frustration I can get from this game.

Many people tend to dismiss BF3 as inferior to its predecessor and I understand it can be seen as such on the surface. The fact is, it's one of the more polished, all around fun and huge FPS experience you can find today.

That's too bad really, those environnements would have fit rather well together. I play All Stars with friends and it's pretty fun, I like it more than SB personnally. But mostly, I find it's a shame because I loved Gravity Rush and I want it to get more recognition.

Yup you can stop time with one of the spells, then you can do a number of things from there. Possess an ennemy and move him in front of a bullet that was meant for you, pick up bullets and grenades from the air, setup traps around enemies, etc.

That's where its replayability comes from. I finished it the first time with a lethal stealth playthrough and restarted it once with a combo frontal fighter playthrough just because the fighting is so very well made. It's a real pleasure to flow through the different abilities and spells, jumping from one ennemy to

This has the "wait...wait...oops" feel to it except what comes after that is not "reload", it's more along the lines of "slash schwik stab pfzzzzt bam ftuk shabaaam... well, that went better than expected !".

Probably a member of the Dead Eels I'd say, so not a witch. The witch's in the previous screen ^^

Hum... I'm sorry if I spoiled you but... he doesn't die in PR... you shoulda stayed a bit longer at the credits :3

True, true, but he had some of the SoA feel to him, that humility in his role... the guy looks like a typical bro-movie actor posterboy but he has some good depth to his acting when he wants to ^^

Oh you can easily do it in a weekend, even with the DLC included.

Am I the only one who liked Charlie Hunnam in there? Everybody seems to trash on him, haven't seen one good thing said about his stuff. Ok he's not the greatest actor but I find he's a good change of pace from the usual acting we get in these movies.

Worst comparison ever :P

If this game had been a new IP, or even a spinoff (Pirate's Creed :P) of AC, not bogged down by all the AC signature designs that don't really fit to this world, I would've gone so far as to call it GOTY right now ^^

Wow... journalism.... I mean yea I know it's Kotaku, and it's a blog and all... but it's actually a huge actor in the video game world, no matter what it really is. Thousands come here to read articles, and they have enormous pull.

Remember this one? Title wise it takes the cake.
