I totally agree with the spirit of this. No one should ever settle for a person they aren't enamored of - but what about physical characteristics that can't be helped?

Same here. I didn't have a lot of weird nit-picky things, but I had standards that needed to be met for me to be in a relationship. The standards may as well have been "compatibility", and that's something that you can't really compromise on.

she's 12, not 14.

Jesus. He'll be eligible for parole in 660 years. Where's the justice in that?

As a member of the French aristocracy, I can assure you that we have been living in fear of this voleuse des bon bons for weeks. To know her reign of terror is at an end—that our precious sweets are once again safe from the rabble—is a relief beyond measure.

“It made me very, very angry,” said Veronica Froman, a retired Navy rear-admiral who recalled how Mr. Filner had blocked her from exiting a room after a meeting. Then, she said, he slid his finger down her cheek as he asked her if she had a man in her life.

Simple question: why is it so hard to treat women like human beings? I just don't get it. Is there a class we should be teaching in school? Hey, see these classmates of yours? Yeah, they're human beings. I know, I know, that sounds like a revolutionary claim for many of you but I SWEAR it's true. The science supports

Can we make Wind Waker look like Skyward Sword or Twilight Princess?

Was it also impossible to be a young child and explain to people that NO your mom is not from Australia? "It's rather annoying actually, I played the last Tomb Raider and it would be one of my favorite games of this year if it wasn't for the fact that I play a woman. I caught myself multiple times saying "Oh, man, would be so much cooler to play as a dude right now!" "

I'd pay a fair sum of money for science to give me a memorable week at Hogwarts. Just sayin'.

That is sexist. If being a woman isn't as cool as being a man to you, that is sexism. Superiority in your own eyes is a very big deal.

Oh, don't get it twisted: I think the little guy is brilliant. (I mean: identifying an OCTAGON?! Before 2? Counting to 20? Telling you what each letter is and the sounds they make?! FUCKING EINSTEIN!) But I try to keep the mom pride in perspective. ;-)

Um, I really hope that study was satirical because I have 200 chickens and could go on for days with examples of why they are just about the dumbest creatures on earth.

Rather not... play a woman. Guess I could, but wouldn't be as cool as to be man.

Sucker Punch could have made a heroine instead of a hero. :|
