Exactly what I was thinking! Headlights and tail lights work. Short trunk lid, mirror signals were an option I believe. Chrome strip as well. I really think this is it.

I ‘downgraded’ to an A3 recently with the same concerns. Hasn’t been an issue. I’ve had four full size adults (5'5" to 6'2") with literally no issues. Surprising but it’s not really tiny.

Pretty sure you’re right. I’ve had b5/6/7/8 usually modded. The B8 was a massive step forward. Fantastic car once the suspension/bars were changed out. Still love it. Longest I’ve kept a car. :)
Also beside the “Ultra” the new one has no manual option. So if i do get another car it won’t be an A4.

Articles like this explain why Torchinsky is the premier automotive journalist of the digital age.

agree

The CHP derives most of their substantial income (average $120K now I think) from registration. They will cite you for this, even if you have a license. They have ‘beats’ and run the same area. A South Dakota plate would stand out, and if they see you more then once.....
I’ve known three people that OWN property in

You are correct. For the year built, not for the current year.
The biggest issue would be finding functional cats that have the CARB number for that specific vehicle, approved by The State (usually people with no understanding of clean air or automobiles, but they do get a hell of a pension and 6 weeks of paid time

A lot more then brake work and suspension! Chassis is made of rubber, solid axle doesn't like to stay in the same place all the time, etc. etc. Yet I still like them......

Agreed. The tone of his voice alone makes me want to punch him. But I do like what he's doing.

This is great! Amazing aircraft. I remember the first time I saw one in the late 70's. We were up in the Tehachapis in SoCal dirt bike riding. I was around 10 years old I think. My first thought was this was a UFO. My dad knew what it was though. The engines had a whine/roar to them that sounded different then any

I have the exact same truck and that's about what I see as well. But the touchy pedal sucks. Kicks it out of MDS with more then 1/8th inch of throttle.

It was a great car nobody wanted. I've owned over 20 VW's and Audis and I didn't want it. The 3.0T A8 is about $75K starting. This is why VW is failing in the US (yet again). Put this engineering money towards that stillborn but super cool retro Microbus concept! I would absolutely buy that with a TDI motor!

I'm dying here. This is the funniest thing you guys have posted in awhile. Good artwork too for only having a few hours to get it ready.

While I wasn't Airborne I did know quite a few of them while in the Army. They told stories of this happening. Sometimes ending very badly for soldier. Usually they cut themselves away and use the reserve.

Agree. On both parts. It's not necessary and you're getting old.
My old ass remember the 944 ads in the early 80's. 8.5(ish) second 0-60 was one of their big selling points. That is unbearably slow now days. 143hp and it was considered quick. Mustang GT had about 150 I think in 1981. The Corvette of the same year was

No way! It's the perfect budget car for this! It's called a Baja Bug for a reason. These things were running the Baja Peninsula flat out (thousand mile rally) back when Subaru didn't even have car dealers outside of motorcycle shops in Japan! :)

Do it. God knows I want to. Few people regret it. Seems more sane then working your ass off for a house you're never at.

I need an American car now. That is awesome.

I couldn't disagree more. I thought it was amazingly well put together. As well as my B6/7/8 Audi's I've owned anyway. Seriously considering the car at this point.

Damn, haven't seen that in...well about 18 years I guess. Awesome. Even classic Van Halen soundtrack!
