You're eschewing reality.
You're eschewing reality.
Oh, for god's sake! Stop thinking about what you "should" like and just like what you already like. Stop trying to compare specs and buzzwords and decide what you like, not what you can convince yourself to like, goddammit.
"We should think of them as fans, and change the video game business accordingly."
For once I agree with the Dingy Mother Advocate Group. EA went over the line with this campaign. I do think the industry should self-regulate EA in this situation or face consequences that affect the entire industry.
@Diamond Sea: This is true. I always wished that rep was a lot easier to lose. You have to be a Johnny Knoxville-grade moron before you lose even one star.
Best party game ever.
@presto117: That surprises me. I hated this method because it was so difficult to walk straight forward. I've had time to think about this, and the real reason this doesn't work for me is that, if it were a joystick, it wouldn't have any return-to-center.
@SaucyN: Depth Perception Win.... in the most fail way possible.
@superhuffy: Is it ok to think her freaking out is funny if the baby is ok? Yeah, I didn't think so.
@RockyRan: @My Little Metroid: A fair question...
I don't believe it. I don't see motion usurping a controller or a keyboard and mouse. We need three complete, separate axes of control, and as long as we are limited to two, FPS on a motion controller will be a non-starter... unless you have the benefit of being a paid blogger who can afford to justify from their…
@Sloopydrew: You, sir, have a star. I want a star too. Now, I know I just have to follow your example and post stuff completely unrelated to the story and based on my own horribly biased and hollow political stance.
What ever happened to celebrating consistency... games that have a formula that works and they improve it without breaking it? I'm glad I can count on series like COD to give me more of what I liked about the last iteration.
Friend of mine was trying to get a business off the ground selling polarized panels that would block one part of the screen and glasses that would cover each side respectively. Never got off the ground... and not nearly as kludgy as this...
@gigawings: Dat grease.
Why should you be punished for doing well by having your most valuable abilities taken away? That's back-asswards.
@ILoveBurritos: It's the standard "I'll get offended at the mere suggestion of something that might offend me." God, when you have children, you SHOULD take an active interest in what they are watching and playing. If you are, there isn't even a chance Dora the Murderer will cross your screen.
@Ichida: Missed opportunity to make this a hit instead of a miss.
I hate it when nihilist assholes and games get mixed up. The world would be a better place if these people took a flying leap.
DNA triggering circadian rhythms sounds like bad sci-fi to me.
