lol of course Esteban proposes at Jane’s wedding. Classic.

No...and I haven’t finished Orange yet. But that’s ok. I figured that one wouldn’t be happy either.

The book evidently sold well enough to be turned into a TV show eventually.

No one is claiming the show invented it, just like Jerry didn’t invent “That’s a shame”. But that expression was in one of the best exchanges on the show

Elaine Benes’ famous “Yadda-yadda-yadda” catchphrase”

The finale was great! My one sticking point is that for all the buildup of Jane’s book and Raf getting arrested in the process of delivering the ending, I’m a little bummed we got no real sense of how the book sold or even if Isabelle Allende gave a pull quote for it.

I have some younger friends and none of them like it. I think so much since then has derived and built off it that it’s no longer original

I turned out she wasn't really his mom. She adopted him from an orphanage that was run by the nuns who were helping her and Emilio Solano with their whole art smuggling ring.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

It was so beautiful.

I didn’t watch it at the beginning because of the premise. It just sounded so horrible about this girl violated at the dr office. But I think I read reviews and just caught up with it on Netflix. And I loved it so much. And after the dark way another show of mine recently ended, I am so glad

Anyone else spend the whole episode seriously worried the tone would be ruined by Magda popping up for revenge after spotting Priscilla Barnes in the guest credits? I was so certain Alba was going to run into her while turning off the lamp. Luckily, this crew is smarter than that.

I literally punched the air at the Mateo-is-the-narrator reveal – my crackpot theory finally vindicated!

Not sure if serious but most women don’t hit menopause until their late forties and some into their fifties. If Mama Shaw had Owen in her early twenties, she could easily have a daughter during her early forties.

Pfft as if they’d wait that long.

So my question is, since Vanessa Kirby (31) is a full 21 years younger than Jason Statham (52), how could they possibly be siblings?

Except Han isn’t dead.
Fast and Furious 13: The Search for Han

Remember when Shaw murdered Han?

Ah, Dame Helen Mirren and the Rock. So rarely do their resumes intersect.
