I've often fantasized about being a car salesman. I love cars. I could talk cars all day. I'd even say I'm pretty likeable. But those HOURS. Working till 7 if you're lucky. Most likely till 9pm or later. Not to mention every damn holiday is pretty much required (except Christmas day). If I was single and had no kids

That's the problem with these events. They get too big and once a certain group of people find out about it they come ruin it for everyone. Burnouts, reving, fights, throwing trash on the ground, etc.

Ok...Seems like everyone that says they are better doesn't really use them. I'm trying to figure out if they really are better for trackdays. I guess there's only one way to find out.

Did you run PS2's before the PSS?

PSS?

Same here! Some poor guy paid $85k for my car new. He only drove it 15k miles in 3 years before trading it in for $45k. He spent more than $2 a MILE just on depreciation. Thats not counting gas, detailing, etc. My cost for 6 months so far has been only $2k in depreciation, and a few hundred in gas. A new Honda Accord

I can understand that.

I think they might actually help extend life. You could technically set them back to factory camber after events.

Rookies! Everyone knows you fly to Denver and DRIVE home.

True! Have you added camber plates?

For the love of god just make another Z4 M Coupe already!!

Nah, better cars for that.

I can't go lower because of my driveway. One could adjust the dampening of coilovers in between events I suppose.

I heard he only tracks press cars in fear of hurting his resale value. Drag strips are another story though.

I really enjoy the active suspension myself. Comfortable when you want it to be, and firm when you want to go to the track. I will never replace it with coilovers.

I had no idea that was offered as a package for the 228i. I figured it was another $6k in individual options. $2200 isn't bad at all.

Not having kids does help. As does having a wife that also works. I know a couple guys that make 6 figure salaries, have 2 kids each, and wives with student loans (that are stay at home moms). Suddenly $100k doesn't go very far.

I can't see how you could go from an M4 to a BRZ and ever be happy.

I can't wait till the S550 has depreciated to $15k. By then I can make my son drive me around while I sit comfy in the back drinking mimosas on the way to the doctors office.

Am I the only one who expected more than 19 combined? I was expecting 21-22mpg.
