Come on people...first there is no way that front end profile would ever pass pedestrian safety requirements. Secondly, there’s no headroom for rear passengers. Also, stainless steel costs 4 times what galvanized steel does, there is no way they can sell one of these for $50k and make a profit.

MDX looks like a larger Rav-4.

Another motorcycle rider died a couple years ago AFTER he crossed the finish line. I think the bikes carry too much speed at the final stretch now that the entire course is paved. You would think not having unpaved sections would be safer, but it increased the speeds. It’s only been 100% paved for a few years, so…

Update: They found his body yesterday in the river. Not how we wanted this to end, but maybe it will provide some closure, and he can be laid to rest.

He doesn’t seem like the type to want to burden people and have search parties looking for him. Why leave a press bike up there? If you want to go off grid, you pick a secluded place where no one would know to look for you and leave no clues behind.

By drowning yourself in a frigid river? Why take your clothes off? I would not want to be discovered naked. There’s easier ways to go out. Seems more likely he wanted to go for a dip, to wash up from days on the road, or to wake himself up with a quick polar plunge.

That red one looks way better than the one on Advans.

Wishful thinking. They’ve commited to the new grille design for the next 7 years. Literally everything will look like a scaled up or down version of each other. The MDX will look like a 30% larger RDX, the Legend or whatever they decide to call it will look like a TSX, with more fake ducts and splitters

You say in the article it’s salary employees, but then say “come Monday 4,000 manufacturing folks will be standing in the unemployment lines” at the end.

I’m not even mad at GM. The more jobs Mexico has, the fewer people that want to come here. IMO our best defense for illegal immigration is not building a wall, it’s to help Mexico build a stronger economy.

Has your electric water pump failed yet? Every single part/sensor made by Continental fails. They don’t make good tires, and they don’t make good parts. They should stick with Bosch and Siemens. They haven’t even revised the water pump. It would be nice to know the replacement might last longer than 5ok miles, but…

Our local Porsche dealer has a stretch of windows 3 times that size overlooking the service dept. They actually encourage people to sit at them (there’s a counter and stools running the length of the windows.
