Only girl syndrome is about more than being the only girl. There’s an element of performative behaviour to it, acting like one of the boys or disparaging other women who may not even be there, or engaging in a false sense of competition with other women.

That’s also a much less elegant and introspective way to end an article that’s exploring a social phenomenon and not an article about Cecilia proving that she likes girls. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ have a good afternoon
