Nintendo has already stated that only 2 gamepads can currently work with the Wii U, and at that point, they take a framerate hit. There are currently no plans to sell additional gamepads (you can't even buy them at stores right now) or develop any games for them, so your last point is invalid.

I hope you're wrong too, lol. I'd love to get more 3rd party games on Nintendo devices other than the handhelds. I think the Wii U will be really good for RPGs, and I'm hoping games like Rayman do really well. Ubisoft seems to put a lot of faith in Nintendo, so we'll see how that goes.

I was really hoping you'd respond back because I know how well articulated your posts are. I agree with the overall sentiment of your argument now. When looking at games that take advantage of the Wii U's gamepad, you have to extend the launch to the download titles for games like Trine 2. I think all of the games

I will agree that as a single player experience, Nintendo Land really only has 3 or 4 good attractions that you can keep playing (because damn if DK Crash Course isn't addicting...). Anyway, most consoles don't have good lineups at the start. The N64 having Mario 64 was a necessity really because the system was so

I know. I've been seeing a therapist regularly. He's thinking of sending me to a psychiatrist to get some prescription medications and better help. So far, they don't think I'm a danger to myself, but I'm really getting down about it. At least they haven't thought to put me on a suicide watch yet. I'm really glad

Thank you for making complete sentences.

I have no idea what those sentence fragments even mean. Are...are you trying to insult me? I honestly can't tell...

I think if you did that, you'd get high off of second hand eucalyptus.

I actually wasn't aware of that as I never owned a Saturn. I always wanted one because NiGHTS. Was it via a multi-tap of sorts?

No. Kangaroo are more like deer in Australia, only more dangerous. :\

Wow, it's been a long time since we've seen your negative sentiments around here Sloopydrew. I can't say I missed them. Did Polygon kick you out, or have you just been lurking around, waiting for a chance to bite.

It's a new thing in the console scene and it's a new execution of the process compared to what I've seen elsewhere, tablet devices included. Also, 5 person local multiplayer is pretty new for a console as well.

Of course tablet gaming is nothing new, but this is much more in-depth that your typical offerings on tablet devices. Not only does it have the power of the console backing it, but it also can be used as a second screen a-la Zombi U.

Comparing the Dreamcast Controller to the Wii U Gamepad are two different things. The game on the VMU was not the same as the one on the console. If anything, it was more akin to the Gameboy adapter for the N64 that you could use to play Pokemon Stadium. If anything, Sega was just doing what Nintendo already did,

That's because the people who criticized it were playing it like an FPS instead of a Survival Horror. This is a game where you really have to take your time and conserve your resources. If you run and gun, you die. That's why the reviews were so mixed. If I had to give it a score out of 100, I'd give it an 85.

Wow. Just. Wow. I don't blatantly insult people often, but you warrant it. You, sir, are an idiot.

See my post above to America Luke. Also, NSMBU and Nintendo Land are all far from forgotten. I know you're not a fan of Nintendo's new stuff, but at least get your information straight. Nintendo has been VERY well received and is an awesome party game. It's way better than Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort ever

It's better than most launch lineups have been in a long time, so I fail to see it as being "weak". I am aware that the other games were on other consoles, but it's still the best 3rd party showing on a launch console. Also, Nintendo land is much less basic than you make it sound. It has a lot of great games inside

The launch was far from weak. There were those two titles, Nintendo Land, ACIII, CoD, Ninja Gaiden, and Sega All Star Racers. Hell, that's just for retail releases. There was also Trine 2 and Little Inferno as downloadable titles on the eShop.

lol. Like I said, it's all tweaking here and there, and you would have to have modes. Honestly, 3 modes should be plenty. Normal is the intended difficulty, Hard has every right to be unfair, and Easy mode should err on the side of being a bit too easy. Again, everyone wants at least a little bit of a challenge,
