The thing of it is, it sounds like the battery was damaged and not really a part of general health. Once there’s internal damage/heat, it’s just going to get worse to the point of failure. Not saying it’s anything you did to it, but could be in the way it’s being charged.

It’d be one thing if it was just a quick drive down the road, pull up, drop off and be on their way. Nope! It’s a huge fucking line.
