Again, I’m not dismissing that at all.  I’m not sure why you’re replying to me about it.  I’m just talking about the people I talk to at work so I’m not sure how you got it in your head that I’m pushing nonsense when you don’t know anything about the people I work with.

You can, but that isn’t realistic.  There’s no way they’re going to mandate a government GPS tracking everyone’s cars.

Not dismissing that. Obviously they’re not for everyone at this point, but none of that applies to the people I’m talking to where I work.

I mean, that’s still something that happens today, you’re just paying the state you’re registered in. There’s no realistic way to track and pay each state you’re driving in.  

Just weight?  It would seem to me to make sense to include miles driven as well.  I don’t think I should have to pay more on my GTO that I might drive 1000 miles compared to someone drives a Prius who might drive it 15,000 miles just because the GTO weighs more.

Funny you mention the jetski one, because I legit thought that showcase was broken. All the other ones someone talking through it, but this one? Not a single word was said.  Just kind of chalked it to the mess the game was in at launch and figured they ran out of time and would add more later on.  A couple months ago…

The only one I played out of those is Horizon, and pretty much a big fat no. The first one had a rivalry story which is pretty standard racing game story, but it felt like something to strive for in a car racing story sense. The rest? I just don’t remember and just felt like all happy good times festival PARTY times!

I’ve heard people argue that they should eliminate gendered awards, combine them and expand the nominee pool, but that just seems like a trainwreck waiting to happen. Know all the problems with minorities getting nominations and wins? I’d imagine if you combine the categories, it’s going to be mostly men.
