5th. So Porsche gets out of WEC, from what I recall, due to costs. Now they want in to F1?

Maybe it’ll be better than Will.I.Am’s car?
They added sensors and a huge sign above the lights a few years ago.
Yes, I think it’s a laser beam that if broken by sometime too tall, immediately triggers the light to go red and the sign says something like “Over Height, Must Turn”
5th Gear:
“Ford Credit’s plan for EV leasing enables customers to replace their vehicles with the newest model at lease end while keeping the vehicle in the Ford network longer so Ford can better manage battery recycling and materials,”
The rain sensing wipers in my Accord. I think it has to be the dumbest damn thing I’ve ever dealt with in an car in 20+ years of driving. It’s just about right maybe 30% of the time. Most of the time it’s too fast, including the many times with a light drizzle or less it decides to go full blast on the wipers. The…
There was an article here a year or two ago, maybe it was a morning shift. Lede image was a bumper of a last-gen Monte Carlo with a bumper sticker that said something like “Buy American Made” Shame that M0nte Carlo was built in Canada.
Might have gone up, actually. They want 1.75 million now, but were asking 1.5 on Pawn Stars.
I think that’s a pretty popular opinion regarding the car. If it’s meant to be a collector’s item linked to a specific event, some evidence of that happening is part of the story. I mean, imagine the Bonnie and Clyde car being fixed up. Who’d want to look at that?
Weren’t they a bit spendy cars back in the day? Who knows what they paid for it. Replace a couple doors and interior bits (maybe from a salvage car) you got a nice BMW. Maybe even flip it for a profit without (or with) revealing the backstory on the car.
The car was restored so not even the bullet holes remain. It’s barely more than a normal BMW at this point.
It’s been on sale for nearly 5 years now. I had to check and see if this was another necro-post posing as news.
Never used one myself, but from what I understood from the owner (my brother) the bar was loaded onto the feed and I guess it was supposed to be locked down on the far end. The bar spins pretty fast so any imbalance will start a wobble and get worse from there. I imagine it looks much like this video except instead of…
Can be. Wasn’t.
There’s someone who’s sitting maybe 20 feet from me that would leave work now to go buy it if it was closer.
Well, it’d be less than that since the article states people were bringing extra gas cans with them and the one guy who came back 2 more times and put 150 gallons in a 500 gallon tank. Point still stands though.
How does it even let you put in a price with a zero in the dollar position?
For Shell, yes. For the owner of the station it isn’t.
