Pretty sure someone has said the same thing about all the other models they’ve had.

Many of those other trucks are based on an existing model.  Rivian was also behind schedule and seemed to have started before Cybertruck.  I’m not sure if the Hummer shares its platform with anything else or if it’s bespoke, but I would sure as hell expect a massive car builder like GM to be able to push something new…

Living in MN, I got tired of buying used cars that seem to be a few years away from rusting out. I pretty much now only get them from far away.

So fight stupid with a stupid work-around.  Put a coin slot on the charger that accepts any US coin over 5 cents.  Any spare coins in your car, just drop one in and you’re good.  See, not free.

Let’s say Company A has designed and built their car to CA strict standards. Govt relaxes the standards. Company A may very well stick with what they’re building and wait until the next re-design to address the changes which may be quite a few years later.
