They do have texturing. If anything, the new one seems to have it only on the edges. Here’s mine that is worn out a bit.

I tried throwing uBlock at that damn thing, blocking the element, but it stayed no matter how many times I tried to get rid of it.  Had to use Script Blocker to kill it.

2016 Accord owner here.  I don’t think the Honda seats are any worse than anything else I’ve sat in over the last decade.  The worst I’ve tried was the Buick Sportback.

Yeah, I can really see this as another situation where Sony 1st party exclusives pull off stuff Xbox cannot, but Xbox games will probably perform better for 3rd party stuff.

But it isn’t just about loading times that you have to wait around doing nothing.  It can more easily swap data in and out of RAM when needed and doesn’t need to hold pre-loaded data for as long before it’s actually needed.  Cerny described this in the video about how that affects level design by needing to “hide”…

Is the custom chip a part of the internal drive or could it be used to control the 2nd SSD as well? From how I understood the video, it would seem the games would need that controller for the games to work as intended. Also, PS5 SSD would top out at 5.5 Gb/s but PCIe 4.0 retail drives could top out at 7.0 Gb/s,…

I wonder if the SSD speed and ability to more efficiently swap in data as needed rather than holding as much as possible in RAM can make up for some of the raw power shortage it has vs Xbox. If anything, this might be Sony 1st parties making full use of the PS5 custom hardware that Xbox might not be able to match, but…
