Agreed. Although it seems like there’s a shift to just paying to announce and show a trailer and The Game Awards now. I mean, it’s like 70% trailers, with the rest split between awards, speeches, musical guests and commercials.

I think the public demo is practically dead these days.  It seems to set too high of expectations for the masses and if the slightest thing is downgraded, people are ready to riot.  

Maybe. E3 isn’t needed. The big ones can run their direct or state of plays to release a bunch of news, bit it doesn’t ruffle my jimmies like watching a live press conference with an audience and getting that crowd reaction instead of a stale pre-recorded video.

The last number I saw was 3.4% for mortality rate, but it’s even higher in the US, like 5% or more.  Possibly skewed because of the old people in Washington, but it’s not a good number any way you slice it when compared to the flu.

That’s fine for some, but others around here it isn’t feasible since there are physical things that need to be done and they’re trying to find a way around that now.  If they’re putting that much effort…

Maybe.  Not sure how your winter has been, but in MN by MN standards, it’s the weakest winter I’ve ever seen.  Almost all the snow is gone at this point.  Thankfully I bought a new car last year, so I have all-seasons on my other set unlike the summer only I had on the last car, so I think I might take the chance and…

Summer only tires really do suck in the winter.  I was delayed in getting my snows on last winter due to some work getting done to the car and kept going back because they didn’t fix it.  The day I picked it up it was snowing heavy and felt like I was on completely bald tires.  Thankfully it wasn’t too far from home.

Yep.  My niece was tired of it and was looking at SUVs at Christmas.  I reminded her that winter tires are a lot cheaper than a new car.  She went for it and LOVED them the first time it snowed.  Kind of a shame this was probably the mildest winter I’ve ever seen and she’s already back on all-seasons, but tires over…

I don’t think those parameters really work.  Even if the roads are back to normal in 24 hours, people still need to get around during those 24 hours.  Life doesn’t stop for some snow and people wind up getting stuck or wiping out in to a ditch or someone else.
