Glad I’m not the only one who didn’t understand that.  Unless....  I hope this wasn’t some elaborate ruse to trap me in to admitting I’m an idiot and didn’t understand it.

Not the target of your question, but MN also requires two plates and I don’t have the front on either.  Never installed the bracket on my GTO and I hardly drive it.  It’s been over 10 years and never been pulled over.  Just got an Accord earlier this year and again I haven’t installed the bracket for it.  Being my

Yeah, wasn’t there an article about pedestrian avoidance a couple weeks ago and like all or all but one failed in the night?

It won’t always have to be monitored and won’t need to be perfect.  It only needs to be shown that it’s significantly safer than people.  They’re not going to disallow it because it isn’t perfect if it can wind up saving a significant number of lives.

So far my warnings are all expected (almost always when I’m behind a car making a right turn) or flat out false warnings. There’s been a couple of times I’m at a complete stop behind a car at a red light and it’ll start flashing and beeping as if I was about to hit them and it would just come and go for no reason. The

Adaptive Cruise control is nice.

Things happen in stages.  The ultimate goal is to not need anyone monitoring.  So many people seem to think we’re not far away from reaching that goal, but it’s a long ways off still.

I get that, but what I don’t get is after all these years of it being an issue that no one along the line of development says something like, “Hey.  This looks good, but you know many people don’t have massive screens or playing a foot or two away.  Let’s make this a bit bigger.”

I just wish most of the text was bigger. I don’t have an 85 inch screen.

Let’s say someone makes $60,000 a year which very roughly equates to $45,000 take-home after taxes.

Yeah, not unusual.  I’d even say very common.  But fast it is not.

And I suppose that’s what you think is actually going on with the game?

In other words, you’re just looking at the pictures in a book instead of actually reading the thing.

Seems to me it’d be better to have some overlap than leaving a gap they can’t cover and have their potential customers going somewhere else.

fast?

No. It’s just the title song for the game. The whole soundtrack was written just for the game.  I think a recentish tweet from Lauren suggested they might start working on a new one soon.

Yep.  I remember one of the Storm Chaser guys did something like this on his cameras to keep the view clean.  I think it was motorized rather than powered by wind, but the same principle.

Also make sure the wheels and tires will fit you car. You’ll need to worry about the wheel backspacing, lug pattern, hub or lug centric, and if the extra width on the tires will create any interference.

What car? Seems like quite a gap in sizing. You can calculate a different size that will still show a mostly correct speed (like within 2 MPH at 60).

Blizzaks are glorious. I’ve got a bunch of memories of breezing through situations where others struggled. Winter driving cheat code.
