Switch when you feel comfortable. Your winter tires won’t disintegrate from running in a bit warmer weather for a bit. They’ll just wear a bit.

I have run winter tires all summer without issue.

Ha.  Guess it’s my imagination that has gotten me to work these last two weeks then if they’re useless.

You had summer tires that are M+S?  

Or when we got blasted in late spring with that nasty storm (last year?).  By the time I neared home, people were stuck on the off-ramps unable to get up them.  Thankfully I was able to make it to one and went off the beaten path and plowed my way through.
